The Young Greens, the youth branch of the Green Party, have announced that they are endorsing the ‘United Left Slate’ in the upcoming NUS Full-time Officer elections during NUS conference 2011.

Marek Powley, Co-Chair of The Young Greens, said:

The Young Greens, the youth wing of the Green Party, today strongly condemned the Metropolitan police for their handling of the UKuncut

demonstrations on March 26th. Several Young Green activists were among the 138 people charged following an occupation of Fortnum and Masons on Saturday.
