The Young Greens, the youth branch of the Green Party, has stepped up its campaign to ban kettling by launching a petition on the government's new epetitions website[1]. The Young Greens have previously petitioned the Metropolitan Police Authority[2] on the issue, and are now taking their campaign to parliament.

Petition for European Prides
Amnesty is worried about LGBT people's rights in several European countries and their rights to hold Pride events. Amnesty has put up an on-line petition for the European governments to protect the European Prides. You can sign it here:
Sandhurst continued training for Bahraini officers despite protest crackdown
Five Bahraini officers were receiving tuition at the élite military academy in Surrey as recently as last month, a Freedom of Information (FoI) request by Young Greens Campaigns Officer Nishma Doshi has revealed.
Congratulations on the Elections
Congratulations to all for the results of the local and Welsh elections. The Greens have had a fantastic result gaining 14 new councillors. We now have 130 across England, up from 116. Additionally Brighton Greens gained control of the council, an amazing achievement.
