Last weekend at our annual Convention members voted for a new National Committee. The results are as follows:

Every year the youth wing of the Green Party host their annual convention. This year we can expect a talk and discussion with the new leader of the party, Natalie Bennett.

The Green Party is opposed to the action of the UK Border Agency in removing the right of London Metropolitan University to accept foreign students. Sam Coates, Young Greens co-chair said:

Tomorrow is the start of Green Party Autumn Conference, and we have put together a timetable of sessions we are running or others of particular interest to Young Greens.

The Young Greens are launching a campaign to call on university managers to reduce the ratio between the highest and lowest paid workers on their campuses. The 'Fair Pay Campus' campaign aims to tackle pay inequality at universities and the higher education sector, and will be launching at York University on Wednesday 16th May with Spirit Level co-author Richard Wilkinson.
