An invitation from Marcus Hemsley to the next YG Action Social Weekend! If the last weekend in Brighton is anything to go by this is not one to be missed...

We have booked some Young Green acommodation for Conference available on a first come first served basis. Should you not require accommodation for all three of these nights then get in touch and we will see what we can arrange.

Green Party Spring Conference, 20-23rd March, Blackpool Winter Gardens

Green Party Conference is approaching fast. This will be a fantastic opportunity to get to know other Young Greens, participate in Green Party democratic processes, and get to know more about the Party. Book early to receive discount. For those students living on a shoe-string, free entrance to Conference can be obtained if you volunteer as a steward in exchange for a 3-4 hour shift each day.

Sixteen: Old enough to pay taxes. Old enough to marry. Old enough to vote?

The Young Greens have long backed the campaign to lower the voting age to 16 and better engage the youth in citizinship and democracy.  The Youth Citizenship Commission has just begun a consultation on lowering the voting age to 16; have your say here:
